10 Horrifying Pixar Movie Moments

10. Sid Learns a Lesson (Toy Story)
"Reach for the sky..." Just as Sid Phillips is about to launch Buzz Lightyear into space, he hears a peculiar sound coming from his cowboy toy. At first Sid thinks it's broken, but he has second thoughts when Woody responds "Who you calling busted, buster." Woody proceeds to tell him that his toys don't like being smashed or ripped apart. Suddenly Sid's dilapidated toys rise from the sandbox and emerge from mud puddles. Woody warns Sid to take good care of his toys, because if he doesn't, they'll find out. "So play nice."

9. The Scream Extractor (Monsters, Inc.)
Mike Wazowski is nervous when a "big moving thing" slowly approaches him. "Say hello to the scream extractor," Randall instructs Mike. Randall then pushes his assistant (Fungus) aside and turns up some levers on a control board. The scream extractor moves closer to Mike and starts sucking his voice right out of him. Thankfully, Sulley turns off the machine just in the nick of time, replacing Fungus in Mike's chair. Hilarity ensues

8. Ro-Dead (Ratatouille)
When Remy tells his father Django that people aren't as bad as they seem, Django wants to show something to Remy. He brings him to a display of dead rats hanging from traps and poison made by Ro-Dead. Django says to Remy that the world they live in belongs to the enemy, and that what he sees is what happens to rats when they become to comfortable around humans.

7. The Divers (Finding Nemo)
Nemo rebels against his dad and swims toward open water to touch the boat. Just as Marlin starts to warn Nemo that he is in big trouble, a scary scuba diver rises up from out of the blue. One of the divers captures Nemo, and Marlin rushes to his aid. Another diver appears and snaps a photo of Marlin, temporarily blinding him. Director Andrew Stanton says: "From a fish's scale, this must be the most intimidating Godzilla moment ever."

6. Hopper's Return (A Bug's Life)
Hopper expects the ants to have stored up food for his grasshopper gang by the time the last leaf falls. When the ant colony fails to do so, Hopper shows no mercy. "You little termites!" He yells. "I give you a second chance, and this is all I get?!" He then unleashes his grasshoppers to cause havoc all over ant island. And to top it off, he kidnaps the queen and plans to squish her to show the ants who's boss. Hopper is indeed one malevolent insect.

 5. Rod Redline's Death (Cars 2)
American spy Rod Redline has been captured by Grem and Acer. These lemons bring him to Professor Zundap's hidden lair, to show him what the allinol fuel is really made for. Professor Z informs Rod that when this alternative fuel is "hit with an electromagnetic force, it becomes extremely dangerous." The lemons proceed to interrogate Rod to find out who his associate is. When they find out passed along top secret information to Mater, Professor Z orders to put the "camera" on 100 percent. "Kill him."

4 .Missile Lock (The Incredibles)
Syndrome questions Mr. Incredible who he contacted, because a government airplane wants permission to land on Nomanisan Island. He discovers that Mr. Incredible knows the people on the plane and he "sends them a little greeting." Helen (Elastigirl) hears a warning signal in the cockpit and notices that two missiles are headed straight for her. She tells Syndrome to disengage and that there are children aboard the plane. Back on land, Mr. Incredible pleads Syndrome to call of the missiles. "To late," Syndrome replies. "Fifteen years to late." Hopefully someone on board the plane has an indestructible super-suit.

3. Mor'du (Brave)
Merida and her mother (in bear from) follow the Will O' the Wisps to some ancient ruins. Merida slips and falls through the floor into and old throne room. She looks and around and finds a carved boulder with three figures and a split stone with the fourth figure. Merida counts the figures on the rock, "One, two, three, four. The oldest. Like…like the tapestry. The spell! It’s happened before!" She notices skulls and bones scattered everywhere and remembers what the witch told her, "The strength of ten men. Fate be changed. Changed with fate."  She put's two and two together realizes that the prince turned into ... Mor'du

2. Camp Teamwork (Monsters University)
In order to get back into the monster world, Mike and Sulley need to pull off the biggest scare in history. Mike figures out that if they really frighten the camp rangers, they could generate enough scream to power the door through the human world. They monstrously scratch up the walls, turn on record players, and knock over bunk-beds. Then Sulley gives the most ferocious roar ever and scares the living daylights out of the rangers, making it a guarantee that they'll have nightmares for the rest of their lives.

1. The Incinerator (Toy Story 3)
We've grown up watching the first two Toy Story movies and falling in love with the characters, and now they are head toward a blazing fiery furnace. At first they struggle to climb out, but one by one they decide it's useless as they take their neighbor's hand as they face imminent death. Buzz reaches out his hand toward Woody, which Woody refused to shake earlier in the film. This time Woody grabs his hand as he braces himself and prepares to end his life as a toy. What happens next is one of the most exuberant movie moments ever.
