New Logo For 'Inside Out'

Pixar's next movie, Inside Out, sounds like it could be one of Pixar's most creative movies ever (and Pixar and creativity are practically synonyms). The movie takes place inside an eleven-year-old girl's mind (Riley) and she is guided by five emotions: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness. (Read the complete synopsis here). The film is directed by Pete Docter (Monsters Inc., Up).
From left to right: Fear, Sadness, Joy, Disgust and Anger.
Earlier today at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, fans got to see a sneak peak at Inside Out, including concept art, sequences of the film, and a presentation from Pete Docter about the movie's original idea. @PixarInsideOut tweeted a picture from the event with the words: "Take a look at this new logo for 'Inside Out'! Just revealed at the Annecy film festival."
So did Inside Out get a logo change? In the last logo (which was first shown at D23 2013), the words were thicker and lowercase, and inside a human's head. In the new logo (seen above) the words are tall and skinny, all uppercase, and slant toward the left.

Which logo do YOU prefer?

Inside Out arrives in theaters on June 19, 2015.

Merida Will be in 'Disney Infinity 2.0'

Even though the main focus of Disney Infinity 2.0 is bringing in the Marvel Super Heroes, there will still be non-Marvel characters available for the Toy Box mode. Disney just announced that Merida and Maleficent will join the cast of the Disney Infinity characters. Check out the trailer below:

Here's Merida's character description (From Inside the Magic): With her untamed fiery red locks, this headstrong Princess will definitely leave her mark in Disney Infinity. Between her sharp sword and bow combo attacks with ricocheting arrows, she can upgrade her aim with elemental freeze arrows, freezing enemies in front of her then following up with rapid shots showing off her impressive athletic skills as an archer and sword fighter.

If you haven't played Disney Infinity yet, you can download the game to play on you PC. You can play with The Incredibles play set and the Toy Box for free, but it costs extra for more bonus content ($19.99 for The Ultimate Toy Box Experience and $64.99 for The Complete Play Set Bundle).

Disney Infinity 2.0 will come out this fall.
