'Cars RS 500.5' - New Cars Toon?

Last august Michael Wallis (voice of the sheriff in 'Cars') said this in an interview; "Cars 3 we're coming back to the road. And we're coming back to 66 into 99. The 6 is upside down, that's the road the runs right through central California." Did he really mean that there was going to be a Cars 3? Or did Michael Wallis actually mean there was going to be a new Cars Toon?
Mattel's showcase at the New York Toy Fair 2014 had new Disney toys including Frozen dolls, Planes, and Cars. At 4:42 of this video (released by Inside the Magic) the promoter for Mattel mentions that "This fall ... they will release a new short called 'Cars RS 500.5.' She went on to say that there would be 114 die cast vehicles available for purchase in 2014.

Pixar has announced 'Party Central' and 'Toy Story That Time Forgot' for this year but they have not yet confirmed any new 'Cars' shorts for 2014.

UPDATE: @ThePixarTimes tweeted at the D23 expo last year that there would be two new Cars Toons: 'Radiator Springs 500.5' and 'To Protect and Serve,' and that they would debut on the Disney Channel in 2014.

Disneyland Paris 'Ratatouille' Area

Disney Parks Blog released information pertaining to the 'Ratatouille' ride in Disneyland Paris:
Inspired by the Oscar-winning Disney●Pixar film, 'Ratatouille', the L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy ride-through attraction will shrink guests down to the size of the film’s star, Remy, a cuisine-loving rat who dreams of becoming a master French chef. Guests will join Remy and his friends as they scurry through the kitchen, dining room, and walls of Gusteau’s famous Parisian restaurant, all the while trying to avoid the villainous Chef Skinner. This first-of-its-kind Disney attraction will immerse guests into an animated world like never before.
Here is the first video trailer for 'Ratatouille' ride:

In addition to the ride, the mini-land also features a shop, Chez Marianne Souvenirs de Paris, and a rat-scale themed table service restaurant, Bistrot Chez Rémy (which will serve ratatouille).
The attraction opens this summer!

New 'Party Central' Clip and Images

Disney UK released the first clip for Pixar’s ‘Party Central.’

In the film, Mike and Sulley return to Monsters University for a fun-filled weekend with their Oozma Kappa fraternity brothers. The gang is throwing their first party, but no one's showing up. Luckily for them, Mike and Sulley have come with a plan to make sure 'Party Central' is the most epic party the school has ever seen.

Rope of Silicon reported that ‘Party Central’ was rated PG for some reckless behavior, making it the first Pixar short film to get a PG rating.

Director Kelsey Mann had this to say in an interview with Moviefone when asked if there was anything that didn't make it into the short that he desperately wanted to include:

“It's funny... There's always stuff that doesn't make its way in, whether it's the movie or the short. But that's where the short came from -- from the movie. I remember, near the end, I always wanted to see their party. It's the first thing they say they want, this party. And I said, "We've got to have this in the movie! I don't care if it's in the credits. I want to see this party." The idea of doing a short came up and we thought that it was the perfect opportunity to pay off something that we wanted to do in the movie but couldn't find the right time and the right moment to do it. So it presented a perfect opportunity. When you work in story, you have these ideas that you had five years ago and they can always come back.”

Moviefone also released two new images from the short:

The release date for ‘Party Central’ is March 21st in front of ‘Muppets: Most Wanted.’
